To help you decide, a panel of experts partnered with 10Best Editors to pick the initial nominees, and then the top 10 winners were determined by popular vote. The article does not explain what criteria was used to develop the list of 20 nominees (like cost VS value or ide wait times), just that the top 10 list was narrowed by popular vote of the public.

- Dollywood - Pigeon Forge, Tennessee
- Six Flags Magic Mountain - Valencia, California
- Holiday World & Splashin' Safari - Santa Claus, Indiana
- Hersheypark - Hershey, Pennsylvania
Not a single Disney Park (Disneyland, Disney California Adventure, Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, or Disney’s Animal Kingdom) made the list for 2022; nor did Disney’s largest Theme Park competitor, Universal Orlando Resort and Universal Studios Hollywood.
