The 28th Annual Arizona Renaissance Festival 

Take a trip Back in Time to the fun and entertaining Arizona Renaissance Festival. 

The 2016 annual faire & Artisan Marketplace begins at:

10 am every Saturday and Sunday, from February 6th through March 27th in 2016. 

This 30-acre medieval amusement park and artisan craft faire transports visitors to a European style fair filled with knights, rogues, royalty and craftsmen, all roaming the village.


What: The 2016 ,28th Annual Arizona Renaissance Festival 

Where: East of Apache Junction on US Highway 60, near the Superstition Mountains. 
When: Eight consecutive weekends (Saturdays, Sundays, and Presidents’ Day Monday) from February 6 through March 27, 2016. The Festival runs from 10 a.m. until 6:00 p.m., rain or shine. 

Tickets: Advanced discount tickets available for purchase and print on-line www.RenFestInfo.com or at Fry’s are $22 for adults and $10 for kids ages 5 – 12, children under 5 are always FREE. 
Tickets purchased at the Festival Box Office are $2 more. 
Discounts tickets for seniors (60 and older) are $21, only available at the Festival Box Office.

Browse over 200 artisan craft shops, shopping is fun and if you are looking for a unique gift; you'll surely find it at this bustling marketplace. 13 stages of non-stop entertainment, an arena for full-contact armored jousting, kitchens, pubs, and people powered ride and games. The Festival is a stage featuring more than 2,000 brightly costumed entertainers


The Festival features demonstrations of experience craftsmanship such as weaving, jewelry making, glass blowing and blacksmithing. 


At the Renaissance Festival, become a special guest in another time and place. The Renaissance Festival experience is meeting and interacting with a variety of characters, shopping for unique crafts, and taking in over 150 shows. 


There is a great variety of food and beverages 
for feasting, including Medieval Margaritas, Da Vinci Coladas, honey mead, beer, along with soft drinks and lemonade. 

A popular attraction at the Festival are the live jousting tournaments held three times daily in the 5,000 seat arena, complete with knights on charging horses and clanging weapons. 


 Join the Pleasure Feast; this is a one and a half hour, five course medieval feast with live music and comedy entertainment, all you can eat and drink, plus festival souvenir. To join this limited seating twice daily event, advance feast reservations are recommended. 


Create your own tradition at the 16th century Festival which might include a giant roasted turkey leg, adding to your collection or battling wits with the village idiot.

The AZ Renaissance Festival & Artisan Marketplace is a 30-acre medieval amusement park and artisan craft faire with 13 theatre stages and a jousting arena. 


A day-long family adventure. 
Celebrating It's 28th year of festivities, the Arizona Renaissance Festival opens every weekend (Saturday and Sunday) from February 6 through March 27, 2016.
  • Also open Presidents’ Day Monday February 15, 2016. 
  • Hours are from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm, rain or shine

What to do at the Arizona Renaissance Faire



A unique experience available at the Renaissance Festival is the interaction with more than 2,000 costumed actors, dancers, and musicians who roam the medieval village providing entertainment. The entertainers on the street will make anyone walking by a part of the show.

Kids will love the interactive games and person-powered rides: Da Vinci’s Flying Machine, The Slider Joust and the Piccolo Pony! There is also a Dragon slide, a Maze, medieval weapon ranges and much more!

Browse over 200 artisan shoppes, get your palm read or be entertained in a seat at one of the 13 entertainment stages for any of the over a 100 daily shows.

  • You can always save with discount tickets at Fry's Food Stores - $22.00/adults and $10.00/children (5-12). 
  • Tickets purchased at the Festival Ticket Booth will be $2 higher. 
  • Seniors (60 and over) discount tickets are $21.00, but only available at the Festival Ticket Booth.   
  • You can Purchase tickets online 


You can even come dressed in costume if you want.
